Rev Abs 1st half
Hey everybody, I've been quiet for a while shooting short tips and pieces of motivation out there. I have been working on building my team and trying to find a location to host my fit club. Enough of that, let's talk some Rev Abs. I am almost half way through the program. Brett is full of energy, motivating, and keeps you moving. You have probably seen him on the Biggest Loser as one of the Trainers. Even though the program is called Rev Abs it does focus on all parts of the body. Arms, back , legs and of course.....abs. You will hear "Fire Up Your Abs". That is where you breath out forcefully and tighten your abs. It helps you pull off some of the moves. You pretty much run through the same 3-4 programs twice a week. Total Strength, Mercy Abs, Power Intervals and Fire up Your Abs. You don't need much to do these workouts. Dumbbells and/or Resistance Bands. Each program runs you through 3 rounds of exercises, with the last round called a "Spice Round" which and extra move gets added. There is also the Rev Zone. This is where you pick up the pace. Can you handle it? These workouts has squats, lunges, push ups, balance moves, boxing, cardio, crunches and much more. Busy Busy Busy
I restarted my P90X rest week last night. A little Yoga X. Tonight I did CORE SYNERGISTICS and for a little extra punishment some Hip Hop Abs: Last Minute Abs. The HHA is short but WHOA! It's typical Shaun T. Dig Deep Non Stop Feel the Burn LOVE! LOL.
Finally, I had to go out and buy new pants tonight. 1. Someone complained about the pants I had on at work today to the head boss. REALLY! I have only wore those for about 1 year or 2 a couple times a week. 2. It was time to drop dress pant sizes anyway. 3 new pants & a belt. The old ones were getting too big. YES! Thank you Beachbody! Thank you Carl Daikeler, Tony Horton, Shaun T and all who work for this AWESOME company. Thank you Lynette for suprising me with P90X. Thanks to my coach Liane for telling me about Shakeology and the whole coaching/business oportunity. Thanks to the friends and Family who support me and push me to get better.

Beachbody Interview
On my way home, Lynette calls me around 6pm saying the camera crew was already there. Good thing I was only 5 minutes away. I got home and let them in and we started setting up. That was a lot of equipment for an interview. While setting up I got comfortable with the crew and they were telling me about filming stuff at the Super Bowl the day before. Pretty interesting stuff. They did say the Black Eyed Peas sounded way better at the stadium than what was heard on TV. Now we are just about set up and Natalie is stuck in traffic. Traffic was pretty bad Monday. We make a few more minor changes and Natalie shows up.
Now time for the interview, we go and talk about me growing up and all the soccer I played. Me being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and what the difference is between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. We went on to me getting injured playing soccer and being diabetic leading up to me quitting the game and the events that led up to me getting to the weight of 215-220lbs. (Most of my life I had been a skinny kid, weighing anywhere from 150-175lbs.). We talked about the events that led up to me starting P90X and then getting involved with becoming a Team Beachbody Coach and starting Shakeology. Then discussed how Shakeology and P90x has benfitted my health and my wallet. How after 3 months I was off Cholesterol Medicine, I was taking less Insulin for my diabetes, my diabetes has been under control, and how Shakeology actaually saved me money because of this. We also talked about how it can benefit someone who is a Type 2 diabetic, someone who has High Cholesterol, Is Over Weight, who "Eats like a 2nd grader". I got to explain how Shakeology is the Healthiest Meal of the Day and how it is helping me change my diet in which I have lost 30lbs. Monday, February 7, 2011
