    My name is Shannon Houk and I am an Independent Beachbody Coach (aka DFW Home Fitness). I am here to fight obesity and along with Team Beachbody get this world healthier. I am also here to help those that want to help other in this struggle. We use exercise programs such as P90x, Insanity, hip Hop Abs, Power 90, Slim In 6, Rev Abs and many more.       I believe in these programs with all my being. I am a diabetic who for a time did not take care of myself as I should have. Things really changed once I got involved with Beachbody. I started doing P90X and stared to feel good and energized. Sore as hell but health wise better. Then I added Shakeology and a better nutrition plan and Things really started to kick in. I dropped my insulin intake from 17 to 20 units before each meal to 10 to 12 units. Before I stared P90X I weighed 215 pushing a size 38 pants. I am now around 187 wearing a size 34. I feel as good as I did when I played on 2 soccer teams back in the mid 90's. And it's getting better every day.
    I am a father of 3. I have a wonderful girlfriend who I love with all my heart. We have 2 dachshunds, a french bulldog and 2 orange tabby cats.  I am a Graphic Designer by day. Independent Beachbody Coach 24/7.  I run DFW Fit Club out of my garage right now. I have room for 3 to 4 people and can make room for more. YES it is heated. I am free to work with so if you have the time, come on over and will get you yelling "BRING IT" before you know it.
