Busy Body
I have been super busy the past week or so and got a little behind on updates. Before I said I was looking to find some fit clubs. guess what? I am now part of 3 here in the DFW area. If you are reading this and not in the DFW area and want to know more about Fit Clubs, tell me where you are at & I'll see if I can help you find one. These clubs I am talking about are AWESOME! We have one in North Richland Hills, Colleyville and in Dallas. I heard that there may be one in Grapevine and one coming soon to Frisco. These "Fit Clubs" are usually a weekly meeting for Coaches & guests to meet up and participate in a Beachbody Workout "ABSOLUTELY FREE". Some though may have coaches help out in paying rental space or helping out with contributing samples of Shakeology and /or Recovery Drink. These are also so coaches can support each other and help each other keep motivated. It is also a good way for coaches to introduce their guests to the Beachbody programs and hopefully purchase a programs or even become a coach themselves without being pressured to do so. It is up to you as to whether you want to commit or not. We are here to introduce you to the Activity & opportunity. Like I said the fit clubs are free, just bring a towel, some water, maybe some friends and that's it. Here is a little video on Beachbody products.
Opportunity
Hey gang,
Last week I attended a Team Beachbody Leadership Training Seminar and it was AWESOME! Craig Holiday was the speaker and if you have not had the chance to hear him you are missing out big time!! The coaching opportunity or business opportunity is still in it's beginning stages. They are only 3 years into it, so I suggest that you check it out now because it's growing and growing fast! There is a lot more than just the $$ involved though. Our main focus is geared to fighting the obesity around the world. Right now in the US over 36% of Americans are obese. But with the Beachbody programs such as P90x, Insanity, Turbo Fire, Hip Hop Abs, Slim in 6, Rev Abs, Body Gospel and more along with the "Healthiest Meal of the Day" Shakeology, we can knock that number down. Also Beachbody & the American Diabetes Association have teamed together to Stop Diabetes. As you may or may not know, Type 2 Diabetes happens to a vast majority of overweight people. Beachbody has dedicated itself to provide people with nutrition guides and strategies to battle these. If you would like more information about Beachbody and the opportunity to help others and help yourself, watch this video, and if you still have questions or want to discuss it further. Feel free to contact me anytime. You get in now and work it right, you could retire from your 9 to 5 or your day job and be able to spend time with your family whenever you want. Go on vacations and trips you thought would never happen. Enough yapping, here is the Video. Talk to you soon.

Dallas Fit Club on the news
Lynette & I attended the Dallas Fit Club group workout yesterday and it looks like the perfect day to do it. Local TV Station Channel 33 The WB was out there interviewing Coach Jimmy and shooting some video of the P90X workout. We did Cardio X. The experience was AWESOME! If you get a chance, find a local fit club doing BeachBody workouts. They are free, fun, & you get to meet new people and get in shape. NOBODY will say anything negative to you if you can't do something. WE all want to see you succeed in your fitness goals. Here is the news clip. Feel free to ask me anything about the workouts or the business side of Beachbody! IT's a LIFE CHANGER!! Enjoy the clip and see if you can find me.

Week 9 for me Week 1 for Charlie
My 14year old son has decided he is wanting to get in shape this summer. I told him I could help him out. He has watched me do a couple of the exercises from P90x and Hip Hop Abs, but never seemed interested. He said he wanted a copy of Kenpo X to take home and do, But we haven't done that. He is staying with us this week while his brother is at church camp. I believe i am at day 57 and he is on day 1. Chest & Back. Finally get to use the resistance bands. First thing I notice for me is I am knocking out push ups left and right! 30 standard boom done, 20 military, 20 wide etc... When I first started I was struggling with 15. The first day I did around 105 push-ups total with a third of those on my knees. Monday I did a total of 194 Push ups - no knees!! Pull ups and stuff to that nature I used the bands. I actually combined the Red & Green which means that those equal to about 60-70lbs. of resistance. Upped the weights again.
Charlie did great! He never quit and kept pushing to do more. He is in about the shape I was when I started this but 24 years younger and more energy than I had. He struggled with the push ups, used the purple bands for the pull ups. The boy has some balance issues. LOL
Abripper X - I nailed this one except fifer scissors. Ugh that one just kills me. They are all hard, but that one does me in. Charlie is still hanging in. Of course he is trying to keep up with me, but I have 2 months on him. He keeps up the effort and does not get frustrated, he could be the hot guy of the 9th grade. LOL We'll see if he reads this or not! Muah ha ha haaaa! Now were was I? Oh YES! No Pauses, No Breaks. We kept up good records of the Chest & Back, but he did not keep track of ARX. Today he said he was a little sore and it hurt to laugh. You will get better son. Keep the smile going!!
Today we did Plyometrics. That one got him. Some of the moves threw him off, Balance issues, said his knees started hurting after doing some of the jumps. I have to tell him to settle down, and modify the exercises to what he could do without hurting himself. We got through it no pause or break. I am jumping more, squatting deeper feeling better. Still freaking hardest one to do! Or I just push myself close to the limits. He already went to bed and crashed. Well he had better, crap, look at the time. 1:15am. Ugh what am I doing? Thanks everybody for reading. Please leave comments or questions. Don't be scared to ask!! I sure could use some recovery drink. I don't have any:( Drink your Shakeology!! YUM!! Later, bed time!!

Week 8 Recovery week
OK gang, sorry I am behind on blogs. Long story of what happened last week. Short short version. My kids Grandfather passed away and it got to me. I got frustrated because I am trying to put this together and struggling. Looking for a location to do DFW Fit Club, Events to set up a booth that doesn't cost an arm & a leg, finding people interested in getting involved. I'm sorry guys I have to vent for a minute. I am glad for all those out there having success in doing this and I plan on being one of them, but I just don't see how they do it! I talk to people, hand out 3rd party DVD's, books, cards, links, etc... And NADA!! I love this program and believe in it soooo much, and I want the world to get healthy and fit. Hell, I just want a few people to do a workout or 2 a week, month, once, something!!. COMMENT ON SOMETHING!! OK Rants over, I feel better.
Now, Week 8 recovery was a rough week, a lot going on during the week. CORE SYNERGISTICS. HOLY COW, I rocked that one. I did it all, no breaks, even did the Dreya Rolls without busting. I was able to do the side high/low push ups. Then a yoga night, still getting better with it. Skipped a night so I could do KenpoX in DFW Fit Club. No one showed so I started Hip Hop Abs. Actually started that on Sunday. Shaun T is AWESOME!! He is funny, keeps you moving and groovin and is ALWAYS reminding you to Tilt, Tuck and Tighten. These are so fun and makes you sweat!
I finally get Kenpo X done, then a YogaX again, One more Core synergistics and Stretch X. This week is done. THANK GOD! Good things coming up! I promise!!
